The Turbines Inc. Repair Process:

Saving You Money along the Way

The Agricultural industry is not required to do full overhauls as would a Corporate operator. Turbines Inc. has coined what we refer to as Inspect and Repair as Necessary (IRAN). We go through your engine from front to back and fix anything that needs fixing. We are not actually overhauling your engine. We are just fixing everything that needs to be fixed to let you operate safely for years to come, and minimize down time and avoid unscheduled maintenance events.

The Agricultural industry terms Inspect and Repair as Necessary as a light overhaul, which is kind of a misnomer. A light overhaul is a specific repair out of a manual, not a repair to an engine for a generalized repair. We Inspect and repair as necessary on engines to increase the longevity of that engine and the operation of it. An engine we repair this way has an expected service life of an additional 6,000 to 8,000 hours. After which, we start discussing with you a time you can afford to bring your aircraft in so we can go through it and get it running like new again.

How We Save You Money

Turbines Inc. was designed from inception to service the Agricultural industry. It is our normal day to day operation to provide high-quality, affordable, fast repairs. For example, one of our own airplanes had a prop strike. For insurance purposes we were required to get three quotes. One quote we received was between $80,000 to $100,000, with a 30 day turn time. Our costs average around $40,000 with a 5 day turn time.

No Red Tape at Turbines Inc.

We are a customer orientated, small company. When you call our office, you will speak directly to our Manager Jay Streb, who can answer all your questions. If Jay cannot answer your questions, he will research the correct answer and call you back as soon as possible.

We do not have the multiple bureaucratic internal support layers that a typical company would have. Turbines Inc. has a very experienced group of people with the authority to make decisions. Whether it is a warranty, part, turn time or financial quote, it is the same person that gives you that information. We believe the less layers, the less opportunity for mistakes to be made.
